Community Agriculture Project - AQUAPONICS

Objectives: 
 

  • Community building

  • Promotion of urban sustainable micro-farming techniques suitable for adaptation and adoption by urban communities.

  • To develop a network for learning and knowledge-sharing in urban agricultural activities.

Project description:

​

  • An aquaponics greenhouse project, rearing fishes and growing a variety of vegetables. Communities in our surrounding areas are encouraged to come visit and learn together! Who knows, your visit might just be the opportune time for harvesting and we would love to share with you! 

​

Project location:

​

  • No 2, Lorong Dahlia 2, Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

    (The greenhouse is located across the road from the Ara Badminton Court in Kg Sg Kayu Ara and shares the same compound as the SSMC Chinese Church. On waze, search for "SSMC 中文堂")
