Pastor Lam Kee Hing was born in Johor Bharu and grew up there. He became a Christian while studying in the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur in 1973. After graduating in 1976 with a B Econs (Business Admin), he felt called to serve the Lord in Scripture Union as a staffworker in Semenanjung (1976 -1982. Subsequently, he pastored the Temerloh Gospel Chapel, Pahang from 1983 - 1986). He then went to do his theological education in Discipleship Training Centre in Singapore (1986 - 1987).

 

After this, he was invited to serve in Scripture Union Sabah from 1988 - 1991. His next place of service was as a lecturer in the Sabah Theological seminary from 1991- 1993.  Subsequently, he served as a pastor in Maranatha Church, a Kadazandusun church in Penampang , Sabah for 10 years from 1993 - 2003. In 2004, he was led to start a new ministry called CORNERSTONE RESOURCES BERHAD (CRB) with the vision to encourage, equip and empower the Indigenous pastors and leaders in Malaysia. He is  now still actively serving in this ministry.

 

He is an assosciate pastor with Skyline SIB church in Kota Kinabalu. He is married to Mei Chan, and they are blessed with two children Isaac, aged 18  and Melanie aged 17.
