I was in Kuala Lumpur when I heard the call from God. Through the preachings of God's Word, I felt God was talking to me- straight to my heart about His divine call in my life and many times I responded to the many altar calls and said, yes, Lord! here I am send me! but the burden of helping my mother to have my younger siblings finish their college education hindered my "yes Lord, here I am send me". Not until I heard the preaching of the story of Queen Vashti from the book of Esther. Queen Vashti was either executed or banished for her refusal to appear at the king's banquet to show her beauty as Ahasueros wished, and was replaced as queen by Esther, a Jew.

As I listened to the preaching that time, I cried and asked God to forgive me because I felt that like queen Vashti I may never have considered God at all because my priority was my family, I mean, I neglected the urgency of God's calling.

I learned in the story that queen Vashti was being replaced by Esther.

The preacher said and this was his challenge: " If you don't answer God's call, now, you will be replaced by someone for your refusal.

I cried in my heart and told God, how I really wanted to serve Him. And that time I surrendered to God my family and everything that hindered His calling in my life.

Months later that year, on that same year, I was given an opportunity by God through the lives of my former employer, sir Ah Sing and ma'am Hedy to attend a-3 day seminar, together with them. There, I received total cleansing of my whole being of which I believe it was in preparation for His calling in my life.

After the said seminar, I began dreaming of God's dream. In my dream, I usually saw visions of places and people. Then, I heard a command from Someone for me to go to a certain place that I do not know . I saw myself riding in a tricycle in a dream going to the place God had to send me.

I asked God for 3 confirmations for that call and it has been confirmed by situations and circumstances. I decided to go home for good, assured of my calling. It was also the time that my working contract with See's was going to end in September, 1997.

Another thing which God showed me in my dream was the time. The time was already in the afternoon, when I heard Someone in my dream commanded me to go to a certain place. I felt the urgency of that command.

Back home for God's purpose.

Immediately, with God's guidance and direction, I went to a church in our place, attended ministerial training, then the senior pastor sent us to the field. I was sent!

The place and the people in my dream are exactly where I am now serving the Lord.

The people group I am engaging with are Cebuano people, llongo people, Maranao Tribe and Subanen Tribe.

By changing people's lives.

Thieves and the hiding place of the people who run away from prison cells.

The Lord allowed us to live with the people in this place called Tinago. which is actually located in Purok 1-B, Lala Proper, Lala, Lanao del Norte. This place is an old cemetery. After the new cemetery was being arranged, the Phil. local government asked people to transfer their dead loved ones to the new cemetery, the homeless people, started to build small houses and start living in this old cemetery in a hand to mouth existence.

Before, In the year 2000, this place was called " little hell" by town folks because this place became the hiding out of drug addicts, thieves, drunkards, gamblers, and all kinds of bad people. People in Lala Proper called this before "little hell". People in Lala ask us why we chose Tinago? But because John and I don't have anyplace to build the new church because we were being asked to vacate for the owner of the lot wants to use it for family use. And so the church had to vacate. When we asked the former Mayor for an area, He told us to ask the Barangay captain for an area where we could build a new church. Then the Barangay captain pointed us to this old cemetery.

God always has a purpose for everything. And when the church was built, glory to God, this " little hell" becomes "little heaven" because God allowed us to be nowhere to start to serve His purpose. God allowed us to live with all these hopeless kind of people to give them hope and to be a light to those in darkness.

An old cemetery of darkness and death but through the church that God had established, He turned it into a place of Light and Life.

Now, Tinago is no longer the same. People are now living a better life. Now people are more comfortable than before. From Nipa huts to a bigger houses. People are now educated. Residents in Lala are no longer afraid of going to Tinago, and stay in Tinago. And the residents of Tinago are no longer ashamed of being a resident in Tinago. They learned to do small businesses. God had turned the place upside down! Praise the Lord.

So, happy to be used by God for community transformation.

2. That the Lord will continue to raise-up - home grown pastors, missionaries. That He will continue to raise-up soul winners, disciple makers, workers, and laborers to His fields. God's mighty provision for His ministry and completion for the church building projects, main and Satellite churches.

3. Good health, protection, provision, more anointing, wisdom, discernment.
